Difference Between Performance Constraint and Behavioral Constraint in Real Time System

Performance constraints

Performance constraints are the constraints that are imposed on the response of the system.

Behavioral constraints

Behavioral constraints are the constraints that are imposed on the stimuli generated by the environment.

Behavioral constraints ensure that the environment of a system is well‐behaved, whereas performance constraints ensure that the computer system performs satisfactorily.
