What is the difference between cryptogamic and phanerogamic plants?

Cryptogamic (hidden sex organs) plants are those that do not present flowers or  seeds. They comprise the bryophytes and the pteridophytes. Phanerogamic plants are those having seeds. They comprise the gymnosperms and the angiosperms.
