Relationship	Correlation tells the degree of average relationship between two or more variables.	Using relationship between known variables and unknown variables, the unknown variable is estimated
Cause & Effect	Unable to tell which series is the cause and which is the effect, despite high degree of correlation.	The given independent variable is the ‗cause‘ and dependent variable is the effect.
Change in scale	Unaffected by the change of origin and scale.	Regression coefficient is affected by change in scale.
Application	Limited Application.	Wider Application.
