Difference Between do-follow and no-follow link

No-Follow links don’t help you rank on Google whereas do-follow links help to rank better.
A no-follow link has a no-follow attribute in the anchor tag <a>.
When a no-follow link is a present google doesn’t transfer any page rank from your website to the website mentioned in your blog post.
